Job Title: Purchase Ledger


Salary: £25-27K


Location: BD10 - Free parking!


Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:45 - 5:30pm (Potential Hybrid) and flexibility on the working hours.


Start: ASAP

This role is perfect for those who are able to work as a team but also working on their own and using their own initiative.


Within your new role as a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for:



  • Communicating with team members/ customers on email or telephone when required

  • Processing invoices

  • Bank reconciliation

  • Processing company expenses

  • Daily and monthly BACS payment runs

  • Investigating debt balances

  • Recording account transactions on internal systems in a timely and accurate manner

  • Pulling data from spreadsheets on Excel

  • Monthly re-charges

  • General Administrative duties

  • Ad hoc duties as required by the team.


Skills/experience required for this position:



  • Experience of administration and systems (finance administration is desirable but not essential)

  • Confident with Excel with a high attention to detail

  • Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or an Accounts role

  • Hands on approach with eagerness to learn
