JOB TITLE: Project Manager


LOCATION: Work From Home - But ideally Redhill based


SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (Salary dependant on experience)


START DATE: ASAP


HOURS: Full Time: 9am- 5:30pm Monday to Friday


Our client, a rapidly expanding and successful financial firm, are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their team. This role is mainly working from home with the occasional travel into London and Leicester.


Main Duties:



  • To manage projects from ownership, accountability and ensuring that they are completed within timescale and budget.



  • Checking feasibility of projects and working out budgets, teams and resources

  • Planning projects - Setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks in accordance with the needs of the business

  • Manage projects - including coordinating with the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project within budget

  • Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of projects

  • Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time

  • Implement any necessary changes throughout the process

  • Report regularly to management and the client


Key Skills and Experience:



  • Strong attention to detail

  • Self Sufficient

  • Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines

  • Good communication and negotiation skills, to manage expectations

  • The ability to use own initiative and make decisions under pressure

  • Previous experience within financial services desirable

  • Previous experience dealing with company merges and acquisitions

  • This role would suit a Personal Assistant with Project experience looking to step into a Project focused role
