JOB TITLE: Project Manager


LOCATION: Must be able to travel to both Exeter and Plymouth


PAY RATE: £22.44 per hour


HOURS: 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday


LENGTH: 3 months initially, potential to be extended


START DATE: ASAP



THE ROLE: We are working with a leading company in the healthcare industry who are seeking a Project Manager to join them on a temporary basis. You will have direct responsibility for the delivery of a key project within the organisation with a focus on the operational element of the service. This includes effective and efficient management, leadership and co-ordination of the project. You will be responsible for specific areas of work including cost management, procurement management, quality management, health and safety and risk management across the organisation.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Create and maintain sound, written plans for the implementation and ongoing management of all projects

  • Capture and document business requirements clearly

  • Carry out research with the support of shared services

  • Creation and delivery of impact analysis reports, communication plans and workflow

  • Creation of test plans to ensure successful testing outcomes.

  • Management of third party involvement and supplier contributions

  • Management of project and change related risks and issues

  • Management of budgets and expenditure

  • Carry out audits to ensure specified requirements are met through each project

  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with a range of local partnerships and stakeholders

  • Reviewing processes, controls and frameworks to support operational delivery

  • Give strong and effective leadership



THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:



  • Experience in project and contract management

  • Evidence of an excellent understanding of the healthcare industry

  • Experience of managing staff and budgets

  • Experience of senior level decision making and delivery in a changing environment

  • Understanding and experience of managing key organisational issues

  • Strong people and motivation skills
