Project Coordinator- Construction

Chatham
£30,000-£37,000
Hybrid working after probation

Looking for a role where you're right at the centre of project delivery? This is your chance to join a growing construction team where you'll coordinate multiple live projects, support site and office teams, and keep everything running smoothly from planning through to completion.

If you're organised, adaptable, and love being the person who keeps operations moving, you'll flourish here. Your day‑to‑day will include:

    • Keeping projects moving by coordinating day‑to‑day admin, tracking timelines, and making sure the right info reaches the right people at the right time

    • Managing and updating key project records - from drawings and schedules to compliance documents - ensuring everything is accurate, accessible, and audit‑ready

    • Working closely with design, estimating, H&S and site teams to pull together technical details and support smooth project delivery

    • Overseeing a portfolio of circa 5 projects, monitoring progress, flagging risks early, and helping keep each phase on track

    • Preparing and submitting valuations, invoices, and client documentation

    • Identifying what's needed on site (plant, materials, labour), raising orders, monitoring lead times and helping avoid delays

    • Joining project review meetings and providing clear, concise updates to internal teams, subcontractors, and clients

We're looking for someone who understands the pace and demands of a construction environment and can keep multiple work streams aligned:

  • Experience coordinating projects within construction

  • Strong attention to detail and confidence handling technical documentation

  • A proactive communicator who works well with site staff, clients, and internal specialists

  • Ability to stay calm and effective in a busy, deadline‑driven environment

  • Proficiency in Excel

You'll join a supportive team within a growing organisation, with a competitive benefits package that includes generous leave, pension support and well-being resources (full details shared at interview).
