Project Controls Officer

Overview:
Working across a range of sectors within the business, responsible for assisting senior team
members of the teams with start-up, administering and controlling all aspects of a number of
projects. This includes, but not limited to administration of the project plan, project
documentation, time reporting and financial controls; assist in maintaining project schedules,
develop and maintain project control processes and also facilitating and coordinating the delivery
of design deliverables. This role is also responsible for producing month-end project financial
reports as required by the Accounts department.

- Implement processes and controls across project stages for information flow.
- Work flexibly on various projects based on company needs.
- Collaborate with the project control team and senior management.
- Coordinate with international branches for project controls.
- Report to the Data Manager, managing annual leave, and prioritising workloads.
- Assist senior team members in monitoring and administering project progress.
- Support in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Analyse discrepancies in estimated versus actual time and cost for projects.
- Coordinate planning sessions, workshops, and change management processes.
- Ensure client deliverables meet quality standards, prepare reports, and manage compensation events.
To be successful in this role you'll have…
- Previous project controls or related experience.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with quality management processes.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficiency in relevant software and databases.
- The client is looking for someone very switched on, a fast learner who has intermediate to advanced excel skills. They will provide basic training but being strong with excel is an absolute must.
- Previous project experience is desired, especially on larger projects akin to airports.
