Receptionist & Office Administrator


Manchester City Centre

£25,000 per annum

Office Angels are currently recruiting for a receptionist and administration assistant to join a successful and professional law firm based in Manchester city centre. The hours for this roll will be from 9:30-6PM, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time office-based role, and our client are looking for an experienced Receptionist and Administration professional to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be someone who comes from a Professional Services background, who are, immaculately presented, an exceptional communicator and someone who is meticulously organised.

Duties will include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors, partners, and clients

  • Answering phone calls and directing to the relevant person; taking concise messages when necessary

  • Setting up conference calls, ensuing catering & equipment is sufficient and available

  • Excellent housekeeping - always maintaining a clean and presentable reception area

  • Assisting with any facilities issues

  • Booking and managing meeting rooms

  • Managing the post and deliveries

  • Organising any catering/refreshments

  • Booking all travel and accommodation for colleagues, including group events bookings via company scheduling system

  • Documenting carbon footprint data in relation to travel

  • Maintaining relevant travel booking documentation manually and via Excel

  • Apply refunds and amendments

  • Completing travel accounts reports and communicating these with the Finance team

  • Flexible working hours when required

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Extensive receptionist experience, ideally gained within professional services

  • Fantastic communication skills - this role will involve speaking to a wide range of people and any applicants must have an excellent telephone manner as well as face to face communication skills

  • Initiative

  • A flexible attitude

  • Excellent IT skills including all MS Office programs

  • Presentable manner
