Production Administrator

Office Angels have an exciting opportunity for a Production Administrator to join our client, who are based in Gateshead, on a fixed term contract for 18 months. This is an amazing opportunity to join an innovative company, who offer a modern work environment and a warm and friendly team!


Experience within Production/Supply Chain is beneficial, but is not essential. Administration experience is essential. An in-depth handover will be given as part of the training provided.


The successful candidate must be able to commit to the full duration of this contract. Following the fixed term contract, this role could go permanent for the right candidate.


Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm


Start date: ASAP! (Notice period can be considered)


Salary: £18,000 - £22,000, negotiable depending on experience.



The duties for this role include:


Supporting the Supply Chain Manager with day to day Production Administration.



  • Regularly review all production paperwork and highlight/investigate errors

  • Maintain accurate production records

  • Liaise with production teams to investigate and rectify any information anomalies

  • Raise purchase orders

  • Create delivery notes and product labels

  • Raise courier requests

  • Process production documentation as required

  • Monitoring PPE

  • Communicate with team members and with other departments either by telephone, electronically or face to face

  • Assist Supply Chain Manager and Operations manager where needed


Requirements:



  • Previous experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain is preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Ability to work collaboratively

  • Well-organised and committed individual, with a strong work ethic, and capable of a high level of accuracy


Training



  • Induction and in house training.

  • In house hygiene training.

  • Basic Health and Safety awareness.
