JOB TITLE: Product Manager

COMPANY: Retail Furniture company

CONTRACT: 1 year FTC (Maternity Cover)

HOURS: 9.00am - 5:30pm (hybrid 2-3 days in the office)

SALARY: £46,000 + dependant on candidate experience

  • Develops, drives, and implements individual product plans and strategy

  • Support the product development process constantly evolving

  • Responsible for design, brief and specification collaborating closely with the product development team

  • Financial experience with sales/reports, prices and margin expectations

  • Creates necessary product sales support, training and technical product information including product feature summaries, competitive evaluations and pricing comparisons

  • Managing the product life cycle from identification, introduction, through growth and maturity, to decline and discontinuation

  • Provide input on product simplification/discontinuation for product lines

  • Work in close collaboration with marketing and sales teams to define and implement new product launches and market launch activation plans

  • Directs ongoing analysis and leads the pricing and discounting strategy


  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

  • Degree qualification preferred, or qualified by experience

  • MS Office including Excel, Word

  • Salesforce skills preferred

  • Experience working as a Product Manager for physical products

  • Able to problem solve efficiently

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Able to manage multiple projects

  • Hands on approach

  • Enjoys diversity in a role

  • Analytical and project management skills

  • Outstanding leadership skills
