Job Title: Procurement Manager


Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 + ANNUAL BONUS & Extensive Company Benefits


Location: Hybrid working, remotely and in the office. Offices based in the City of London, Close to Bank Tube Station.


Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm


Job Type: Full Time

Duties include but are not limited to:



  • Develop, negotiate and manage a large supplier base

  • Responsible for hosting and presenting supplier meetings

  • Manage and negotiate throughout the tender process

  • Negotiate commercials throughout the year

  • Responsible for supplier Improvement plans

  • Implement supplier and vendor management concepts

  • Manage and identify commercial and operational risks

  • Effectively build and maintain supplier relationships

  • Responsible for producing reports and analysing data

  • Responsible for completing supplier evaluations

  • Responsible for leading and supporting a team of 3 analysts



Experience and skills required:



  • Educated to degree level or equivalent*

  • MUST have 2 -3 year's experience within a procurement/similar role

  • MUST have previous experience within the technology sector OR a real interest in the industry

  • MUST have proven experience with successful development, negotiation & management of a supplier base

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Outstanding presentation skills

  • Able to lead and motivate a team

  • Excellent communication skills, listening and negotiation skills

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management and employees

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • Able to work to strict deadlines and time frames

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently

  • Confident, professional and articulate

  • A strong team player

  • Able to command and build respect from the team
