Procurement Administrator.

Office Angels are working with a global brand for a Procurement administrator. This role is a mix of working from home and office based.


This is going in to a busy role that requires someone with an eye for detail and ability to work well in teams to ensure all process are followed accurately.


Main Tasks



  • Support the buying team on specific projects to learn foundational procurement skills with the intention to work towards a buying assistant grade

  • Responding to emails received into the procurement inbox from internal customers and taking actions where appropriate, forwarding to other members of the team, or escalating to management.

  • Liaise with external suppliers for basic queries received into the procurement inbox under the supervision of the Back Office Clerk

  • Place orders within the set SLA for urgent requests from the business

  • Agree a project to run independently with support from the buying team and present to management


In addition



  • Support the P2P Back Office Clerk with ad-hoc tasks such a running a report or creating presentations

  • Bring and manage agenda points in the weekly procurement meetings

  • Evaluate processes worked on and suggest improvements

  • Attend supplier meetings
