Process Operator

If this sounds like you Office Angels have a fantastic position in as a processing operator for one of our highly respected clients within West Lothian.



The Process Operator will ensure the safe operation of the manufacturing plant and equipment as directed by their Supervisor and carry out assigned tasks in compliance with Safety and Environmental Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and with due regard for the safety of all co-workers.



Main duties of the role involve:


Complete shift reporting and data management using both paper and computer based systems.


Operate all plant and associated equipment in order to achieve the required production in accordance with SOPs.


Implement systems or procedures as defined by Supervisors or Management for the safe operation of plant and equipment,


Ensure the quality of finished product is satisfactory by adequate application of process control and correct packaging requirements.


Undertake routine checks and general manufacture tasks on plant and equipment, and investigate / repair faults as directed by procedures or Supervisor.


Understand the ISO9002 Quality Assurance System.



Preferred but not essential


Five years manufacturing experience in the chemical or process industry


3 Highers


HND in technical discipline


Counterbalance forklift licence



The role will be based on a 3-6 month temporary contract working a rotational shift basis 4 over 7 days.
