JOB TITLE: Pre-Press Coordinator

LOCATION: Eastbourne

HOURS: Monday- Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 p/a (dependant on experience)

Office Angels are teaming up with the Hiring Manager during an exciting time of growth within the company, we're looking to recruit an Pre-Press to join the expanding team. This exciting opportunity would suit an upbeat and ambitious person who has passion and drive for the best.

The role is to effectively manage all pre-press production work. Identify any improvements and mentor and train all staff to upskill and work to the best of their ability.

The team will be working on a mixture of projects including websites and product development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Previous experience in Pre-Press methods

  • Managing the printing and design team

  • Retouch imagery

  • Assisting with promoting the company through the use of up-to-date and modern methods

  • Generate and share reports with management team

  • Ensure you are minimising the overuse of materials and waste

  • Provide technical and administrative support

  • Identify any training needs within the team

  • Responsible for health and safety welfare

  • Make sure you are capturing and reporting any departmental complaints

  • Conduct return to work interviews and manage sick leave

  • Ensure the use of IMS systems and train members on this

About you:

  • Good IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in a Design and Pre-Press role

  • Experience in website design & have a creative flair

  • Ability to lead and manage staff

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Following processes

  • Excellent communication skills and able to work as part of a team

  • Great telephone manner

  • Ability to prioritise and work to timescales
