My client are an events company and this role will be to maintain, support and assist the companies online portal database and customers.

This is a great position for someone who has had prior database administration experience combined with support & customer service.

Applicants need to have some IT support / database support experience


  • Assist the IT & Events teams in administering the online Portal

  • Import into the portal database using the backend systems

  • Assist in live portal events management

  • Assist in preparation of events on the portal

  • Support the online user community

  • Ensure the online events lifecycle is completed from start to finish

  • Provide support and training to speakers and sponsors on video conferencing

  • Assist the IT team in reporting

  • Provide support to the IT and events team with regard to the Portal

Skills Requirements

  • Excellent Excel / MS office skills

  • Highly focused and strong attention to details

  • Customer service/ support experience

  • Experience in using a helpdesk or similar support environment

  • Ability to liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • SQL/MySQL exposure (beneficial)

  • Reporting experience
