Job Title: 2x Planning Administrators (Transport Industry)


Location: Lympne (Office based)


Salary: £23k - £25k


Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm or 9am - 6pm


The company we're recruiting for are going through a period of expansion and as a result would like to recruit 2 Planning Administrators to be part of their strong Operations team. The Director would like to recruit 2 positive, enthusiastic, never giving up individuals. You'll need to be helpful and an outgoing person who can get along with and support others.


As a Planning Administrator you'll be responsible for:



  • Working closely with Traffic Planners and Operational Team to be able to assist with various operational queries and tasks as required.

  • General office duties such as answering phone calls and emails.

  • Dealing with Drivers/Customer queries.

  • Processing customer orders, inputting data into planning systems and issuing jobs to drivers, drivers timesheet reconciliation.

  • Updating Customers with job status and progress.

  • Managing and updating various third-party systems and portals, arranging collections, deliveries, customs clearance, various other administrative roles.

  • Managing various documents and paperwork ensuring it meets company's compliance criteria.


You'll be the perfect match for this client if you:



  • Have experience working within Administration and/or planning

  • Have experience working within the Freight/Logistics/Transport industry

  • Are an excellent communicator both written and verbal, with a strong attention to detail

  • Have great people skills, 'can do' attitude and a hands-on approach

  • Are highly motivated and committed to providing great service every day

  • Have outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills with strong ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • Have good MS Office skills
