Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer on behalf of a very busy construction business based in Manchester.



Duties will include but are not limited to:




  • Processing both weekly and monthly payroll

  • Dealing with annual leave, sickness and managing this

  • Any other calculations as required

  • Set up processes and procedures

  • Work closely with HR to manage any contractual changes

  • Complete payments and agency timesheets

  • Produce reports when required

  • Use of Sage

  • Any other admin as required



We are looking for someone who has previously managed payroll for a medium - large business and who is confident taking sole charge of this. Experience of Sage is required and ideally knowledge of time and attendance systems. You should also be able to demonstrate experience working under pressure to meet deadlines.


Experience of working within the construction sector would be an advantage.



Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience.
