Permanent, full-time and part-time available

Office based (option for home working available on rota)

Office Angels Hull are a market leading recruitment agency, specialising in permanent staffing solutions. We are delighted to be working alongside a large, family-owned business who have been in the area for generations as they look to recruit for a Payroll Coordinator. With a fine attention to detail and a background in payroll, you will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of various schemes such as maternity and sickness whilst offering a timely and accurate response to your colleagues.

The role:

� Maintain accurate records on payroll systems

� Liaise with colleagues over the phone, via email and in person to answer their payroll queries

� Keep abreast of HMRC legislation and any changes

� Support senior colleagues in the event of absence

� Generate third party payments

� Process weekly, lunar and monthly payroll for over 1000 colleagues

� Perform manual calculations of auto-run to ensure it is correct

� Take ownership of accounts assigned to you to learn the different hourly rate, overtime rates etc. to ensure these are completed accurately when needed

� Possess an in depth knowledge of all aspects of payroll including tax, NI, Student Loan, SSP, SMP, SPP, Attachment of Earnings to provide support and advice to HR, Managers and colleagues

To be successful in this role, you will:

� Good communication skills and able to handle questions from colleagues in stressful situations

� Ability to perform manual calculations

� Act in a confidential manner

� Improve process efficiency and cultivating an efficient way of working

� Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and systems

� In depth, working knowledge of payroll and pensions

� Want to grow and gain more knowledge

In return you will be entitled to:

� Annual salary of between £25,000-26,500 DOE
