Job Title: Payroll Assistant (Part-time)


Location: Near Canterbury


Salary: £22k-£24k pro rata (equating to £9,027-£9,843)


Culture: Expanding Manufacturing business. We recruited the HR Manager and HR Advisor so we know you'll be part of a brilliant supportive team


Hours: 16 hours per week, our client is flexible if you'd prefer to work 2x 8 hour days for example or 4 hours every 4 days


Benefits: 25 days annual leave pro rata + bank holidays (3/4 to be used over the Christmas break), free parking


Your key responsibilities as the new Payroll Assistant would be:



  • Responsible for the co-ordination of the monthly payroll processes for approximately 60 employees

  • End of year processes and P11Ds and dealing with all salary queries from staff

  • Responsible for all benefits and pension administration

  • Manage the collation of payroll information and the production of monthly HR salary documentation


Skills/Experience required:



  • Experience working as a Payroll Assistant is essential

  • Experience of pensions and company benefits including Healthcare providers

  • An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Payroll systems
