We are looking for temporary Payroll Assistant to join a busy Finance team.

The role requires someone that has excellent attention to detail, numeracy, verbal & written communication skills & IT skills (Word & Excel) plus the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels with clients, staff & other agencies and the ability to prioritise own workloads.

Your Main Duties Will Include



  • Setup of payroll records for employers from information provided including HMRC registration, contracts and payroll file.

  • Accurate weekly input of all detail from payroll user timesheets to payroll system

  • Calculation and recording of associated payroll detail for each employer (employee hours, payment, tax, NI, holidays, expenses etc.)

  • Timely creation of payslips for all service user employees

  • Generation of accurate HMRC documentation for employer including quarterly payments information and year-end completion and documentation.
