The Company

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as an Accounts Administrator on a full-time, permanent basis. The company we are recruiting on behalf of delivers support, development, and facilities to local infrastructure and manufacturing companies across the UK. You will be working alongside an exciting, positive & dynamic team providing essential services and support to a number of leading Global Companies.

The Role

As an accounts administrator, you will be responsible for the administration/preparation of weekly payrolls and general day-to-day accounts processing. This is a varied role, and you must be able to demonstrate ability, previous experience, coordination, and a high standard in all aspects of the role.

  • Assisting with the preparation of weekly payrolls across 3 companies which includes the checking of time sheets, clock cards, and daily worksheets

  • Ensuring that all payroll legislation is adhered to in line with HMRC specifications

  • Maintaining holiday records, sickness records, and preparation of absence and attendance reports

  • Preparation of monthly PAYE and NIC reports

  • Inputting purchase invoices, which includes checking against purchase orders, and requisitions

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Raising of Sales invoices

  • Inputting of sales and purchase cash to supplier and client accounts

  • Assisting with month-end procedures

  • You will be part of the accounts team who provides support to other departments ensuring company standards are maintained

The Ideal Candidate

  • Background in Payroll and Accounts

  • Proactive with the ability to time manage, coordinate and problem solve

  • Excellent IT skills & Excel ability.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task
