JOB TITLE: Temporary Ongoing - Partnership Team Leader


LOCATION: Swindon


SALARY: £16.89ph


HOURS: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 17:00pm

Main activities


Contracts and Partnerships



  • Maximise Partner contract performance and delivery of agreed income, funding and targets at outstanding levels of quality, satisfaction and success rates.

  • Oversee contracts with partners and subcontractors from initiation to completion, ensuring financial contributions are maintained and financial regulations adhered to, while ensuring all processes are followed rigorously.

  • With Head of Partnerships, set and agree all processes, budget allocations and quality, satisfaction, success, reporting and other KPIs with partners.

  • Monitor and evaluate delivery of contractual obligations and suitability and sustainability of partnerships.

  • Ensure due diligence processes are managed, followed efficiently and effectively in order to remain compliant with funding body regulations.

  • Maintain a regular programme of communications with partners, including partnership events, for information sharing purposes and mid and end of year reviews.

  • Support writing and implementing an annual Quality Improvement Plan for the team and Partners.

  • Support the development and maintenance of effective Quality procedures in conjunction with the Quality team, FMI and Finance.

  • Monitor quality activity within Partnerships ensuring it meets with audit and Ofsted requirements.

  • Support the complete Partnership aspect of the College Self-Assessment Report (SAR), requesting and collating reports from Partners

  • Set up and maintain Partnerships Management file, to include all Partnership team processes, due diligence documentation and any audit results.




Team Leadership of Partnerships



  • Lead and manage the day to day activities of the Partnership team, including line management of any directly-employed staff in partner organisations.

  • Develop and manage the performance of team members, conduct regular 1:1s and annual performance reviews.

  • Allocate responsibilities as required to reflect the changing needs of the College and partners.

  • Develop and maintain effective, consistent practices and processes to improve business effectiveness, while ensuring regulatory and statutory compliance is maintained.

  • Ensure consistent and high quality customer service is offered by all the team.

  • Lead and manage College employed external auditor.



Financial Management



  • Liaise with Finance on the production, analysis and reporting of all financial data for Partnerships.

  • Use statistical and financial data to ensure effective monitoring of delivery of programmes, their recruitment and funding / income.

  • Ensure all Partner/Subcontractor credit rating remains compliant with ESFA requirements by monitoring of reports and requesting these from Finance.

  • Attend and provide data/commentary for AYE and other cross-college meetings.

  • Monitor both income and costs against cost centres and budgets.

  • Maximise income opportunities from all funding streams.

  • Ensure a value for money approach is taken to all costs and expenditure, following College processes and guidelines as necessary.

  • Maintain data for financial audits.

  • Analyse, evaluate and report information on success rates, learner progression and outcomes and any other Partnership/Quality data requirements.
