Part-Time Office Administrator

JOB TITLE: Office Administrator


LOCATION: Maidstone, Kent


HOURS: Part-Time, 5 days a week (flexible hours)

We are recruiting for an exciting global technology business who have just moved to brand new modern offices in Maidstone. You will be working for an excellent employer who encourage flexible working and who really invest in their people.


This is initially a temporary position for around 3 months, however this could be extended or the possibility of a permanent role.


The day to day duties in your new job would be:



  • Managing the day to day running of the office, including ensuring a clean and safe office environment, ordering and maintaining kitchen and office supplies and resolving any local facilities related issues.

  • Managing agreements with external vendors, including the landlord, cleaners and taxi service and reviewing these regularly to ensure that we are getting a good level of service and a competitive price.

  • Ensuring local Covid-19 safety measures are adhered to, including maintaining stock of sanitizer, wipes and masks and informing visitors and contractors of the protocols they need to follow.

  • Taking care of ingoing and outgoing post and shipping administration.

  • Supporting with local facilities budgeting.

  • Making travel arrangements for employees, interview candidates and new hires.

  • Welcoming visitors onsite.

  • Submitting invoices for approval and payment in a timely way to ensure all invoices are paid on time.

  • Running the local social committee, and organizing social and charitable events.

  • Assisting with ad hoc facilities and administration projects as required.

  • Acting as local point of contact for admin/HR team, including supporting employee wellbeing.
