With expansion and success comes the requirement for a part time secretary to join a thriving Corporate team who work closely with businesses of all sizes from sole traders and partnerships to SMEs and national organisations.

Working with a highly expert team you will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial support to include:



  • Documents and correspondence relating to all matters are processed quickly and accurately

  • Receipt and sending of monies

  • Communication with clients and other individuals in the firm both on the telephone and in person, ensuring messages are passed on

  • File management procedures are accurately carried out, including scanning and filing of correspondence (written and electronic), attendance notes and time



  • Set up new files accurately and speedily on instructions from fee-earner and in accordance with the firm's file management procedures

  • Raise invoices on the files and close the files at the end of a matter

  • Make travel arrangements or any other personal arrangements for fee earners as and when required and to organise events for fee earners and clients.

  • Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date diary

  • Undertake time recording tasks for fee earners as requested

  • Ensure the strict confidentiality and security of all Practice and client's documentation

  • Maintain time records of telephone calls, letters written and attendances on clients

  • Assist fee earners in transactional work, to include involvement in document management and electronic data sites.
