Part Time Legal Administrator within Criminal Law Department
Salary: £17'000 - £19'000 pro rota
Job Type: Permanent
Location: City Centre Birmingham


This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a highly reputable and dynamic firm who value their staff, and always promote from within. The current position available is for an candidate who can demonstrate Administrative duties within a Criminal Law department.

You must be able to work on your own initiative, act with maturity and integrity. Previous legal experience is desirable

Working Hours: 3 days per week

Responsibilities:
*Downloading outsourced dictation


*Maintaining a Case Management System


*Booking prison visit appointments


*Booking office visit appointments


*Booking conferences with a Counsel in relation to Crown Court Matters


*Diary management


*Downloading case papers from a centralised database


*Uploading case papers onto case management system


*Liaising with the police force in relation to legal bail cases


*Sourcing experts and adding to the experts register

The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience within legal team environment - desirable


* Administration experience - essential
* Excellent communication skills- Verbal and Written
* Great attention to detail and accuracy
* Well-presented
* Articulate
* IT Literate
* Previous experience using Bespoke systems
