Accounts/Office Manager - 21 hours per week (Maternity Contract - 9 months)
Rainham, Essex
£15-£18 per hour
Monday - Wednesday 9am-5pm (May be flexible)

My client, a professional and well established company based in Rainham, is looking for an Accounts/Office Manager to join them on a maternity contract, working 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have previous accounts experience and ideally knowledge of Sage.
You will be responsible for:
- Typing fee quotations and ensuring they are sent out accordingly
- Managing invoice numbering log, ensuring correct details are in place and filed on company server.
- Producing/drafting invoices
- Entering incoming and outgoing invoices appropriately
- Processing payments noted on bank statements
- Tracking payments
- Reviewing employee expenses and making reimbursements
- Checking all financial transactions for accuracy
- Paying suppliers
- Liaising with Accountants to produce monthly wages, paying wages monthly
- Ensuring wages journal is entered on Sage
- Chasing late payments
- Managing financial queries
- Reconciling bank transactions, marrying up bills and receipts
- Ensuring VAT is paid on time
- Managing company Bank Account
- Ensure PAYE is paid on time
- Assisting with administrative tasks including typing documents and taking minutes
- Managing sickness and absences
- Assisting with H&S audits
