Role: Part Time Accounts Manager

Location: Dartford

Hours: 9am-5pm 3 x days a week in the office (flexible on days)

Salary: £19k as a part time salary- £32k Full time equivalent

Permanent Role

Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with experience using SAGE? Our client, a small but successful, family run business based in Dartford, is seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join their team. Flexible working is available where you can choose the set days you will work, to fit around your home life. The team are warm and friendly, with lovely open plan offices, convenient to travel links in Dartford.


  • Prepare and send sales invoices to customers via email

  • Upload sales invoices to various customer portals

  • Input sales invoices into Sage Accounts

  • Check purchase invoices against purchase order numbers and delivery notes

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Prepare and submit VAT return on a quarterly basis

  • Process monthly PAYE/NI payments

  • Handle the payment of Corporation Tax

  • Enter clocked hours into the Total Time system

  • Record overtime hours on Excel

  • Input information into Sage Payroll

  • Print payroll reports and payslips

  • Enter all pension information onto the NEST website

  • Review payroll information with Neil before payment

  • Complete payroll journal on Sage Accounts


  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role

  • Proficiency in Sage Accounts

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
