PA/Office Manager


Job Title: PA/Office Manager *Rural location + sociable office*

Location: Near Maidstone (Working from home 2/3 days per week - must be office based on Tuesdays)

Industry: Construction

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Culture: A sociable, vibrant family run company of 25 years with a team of 8 in the office. Our client is based in rural location and so your own transport is required due to the location of the business.

Our client is recruiting for a PA/Office Manager to be the face of their business. You will be working on the top floor of a converted, open plan farm house 2/3 days per week and the rest working from home. You are required to be in the office on a Tuesday to facilitate weekly board meetings. Our client is looking for a proactive, strong, experienced PA to hit the ground running and take ownership of this role.

Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Providing administrative support to the board of 7 Directors

  • Answering and screening all telephone calls, determining the importance before transferring them through

  • Organising and maintaining business insurance

  • Assisting with auditing process and compliance related tasks

  • Booking lunch meetings as required

  • Diary management of all 7 Directors

  • Oversee office facilities, costs, stationary, and internal activities.

  • Filing and other administration duties as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office

  • Experience working within an Admin support position

  • Experience working as either an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant

  • Strong use of own initiative and confident decision maker
