Salary: £23,000-27,000

Location: East Hull with some travel throughout the East Hull area

Permanent, Full-Time

An exciting, rare opportunity has arisen to support the CEO and Senior Management Team within the public sector. This role will be a fantastic opportunity for those with experience in administration who want to specialise as a PA.

The role:

  • Manage diary for CEO

  • Plan and organise meetings for the senior management team - arrange venues, equipment and refreshments

  • Attend meetings with, and on behalf of, the CEO ensuring accurate and detailed notes are taken and then distributed to relevant parties

  • Act in a confidential manner

  • Prepare agendas and resources for meetings

  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO by means of telephone, email and visitors

  • Efficiently screen contact for CEO and arrange in order of importance

  • Effectively manage email inbox

  • Manage social media and internal communications

  • Arrange business travel and accommodation

  • Take responsibility for relevant projects and effectively communicate across departments to ensure projects are delivered in an accurate and efficient manner

  • Use your own initiative and act in a manner the CEO would deem fit

  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure smooth running on a day-to-day basis

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be an effective and efficient communicator via email, telephone and in person

  • Have excellent time management skills - able to juggle a busy workload and manage own time

  • Be ever looking for more efficient ways of working

  • Have a clean, full driving licence and be willing to travel as business needs require it

  • Be flexible - you may be required to work at other sites or adjust hours as the business needs it

  • Proficient with computers especially MS Office

  • Experience within a varied admin role is essential, experience as a PA is preferred

  • This role will require a DBS check before the start date

In return you will be entitled to:

  • Annual salary of between £23,000-27,000 depending on experience

  • Enhanced employer pension contribution

  • General hours of 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday - open to negotiation if necessary

  • Free on-site parking

  • Business mileage paid
