Position: Grants Outreach Officer - 12 months fixed term contract

This charity supports individuals and their families in need and therefore the team this role sits in plays a key part in providing excellent customer care to visitors and applicants. Their mission is to raise vital funds and distribute millions of pounds to relevant charities. They support at every stage of life from fitness to finance right through to quality and end of life care.

The Opportunity

This role offers a great variety of tasks all essential to the position. The role is broken down into key areas;

As Grants outreach officer you will be responsible for providing information to RNA branches and membership organisations about the funding available.

You will develop the market and communication plans to reach branches.

Building a great rapport with key stakeholders and contacts.

You will always engage with branches to encourage them to consider the needs of potential new members and develop pilots with a focus on digital engagement, delivery and inclusion.

You will sometimes provide general admin support as required to support this programme.

You must ensure to help branches deliver their ideas into credible bids also promote and develop special interest groups and virtual branches.

Supporting the monitoring process, collection of data and providing liaison with the grants team in term of process is also a key part of this role.

Overall you will be a great team player who can help deliver ad-hoc projects, positively contribute to meetings and support this exciting charity as well as willing to learn new skills, such a rewarding role!

About you

You will have experience undertaking administrative tasks and enjoy doing this as well as working flexibly using your own initiative without supervision, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.

The ability to emphasise with the needs of the clients is key in this role as well as the ability to remain positive and create a professional reputation for this charity.

Proven IT skills including Microsoft, Outlook and Word (with the willingness to learn others) is important.

You will have at least 5 GCSE's including Maths and English or equivalent.

Be able to be DBS cleared successfully.
