Outbound Customer Service Advisor - Permanent Contract


North Shields


£18,800 per annum


35 hours per week


Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm - Part time hours would be considered for the right applicant


Office Angels are currently recruiting for an Outbound Customer Service Advisor to support our client based in North Shields. This is a Permanent opportunity working 35 hours per week over 5 days and is to start as soon as possible.


Duties:



  • Undertaking calls to potential and existing clients to follow up on tentative interest and / or to promote the services of the business, clarifying facts and dealing with any queries

  • Effectively explain how the businesses expertise can assist the client in any potential claim and clarify next steps required to proceed including setting expectations regarding timescales

  • To obtain all correct documentation at the outset to progress the claim

  • Manage the client relationship until the documentation has been received and passed to a case handler

  • Undertake subsequent administration tasks until the file has been passed to a case handler

  • Maintain detailed records of all calls and actions undertaken on the businesses case management system

  • Achievement of KPIs in relation to performance, quality and productivity

  • Maintain awareness of personal performance and identify and implement measures to improve including responding to coaching and feedback provided

  • Manage time effectively to maximise availability to make calls

  • Supporting and encouraging other team members

  • Communicating effectively with colleagues through regular team meetings, 1:1s, on-going feedback and sharing of knowledge

  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of the brand mission, values and business objectives

  • To do all such other things which are, in the reasonable opinion of the business, ancillary, necessary or conductive to the role and responsibilities outlined above


Requirements



  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with first class client care skills

  • The ability to work effectively within a team and on their own initiative

  • Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Ability to understand and assimilate data quickly

  • Resilience

  • IT literacy
