JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator

JOB TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: £28,000 plus two bonus' a year

HOURS: 9:30am to 6:30pm (overtime compensated for)

Role & Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator supports our Consultants and the research team in all administrative aspects of search management and execution.


  • Lots of emailing, scheduling, administration and problem solving

  • Speaking on the phone to Private Equity, Growth Equity, Venture Capital, Credit Funds and Hedge Funds individuals

  • Researching (they will teach you how they do it/what they use) using the database and cross-referencing with the research team maps, where possible.

  • Ensure we have the most up to date candidate CV and relevant details on file (compensation, visa etc)

  • Copywriting of candidate profiles: Assist in the creation of the word profiles for each shortlisted candidate

  • Act as the main liaison between candidates and clients with regards to scheduling & process logistics

  • Arranging & confirming meetings and interviews, and ensuring the searches keep moving forward

  • Ensuring interviews are logged in the relevant consultant and researchers diaries

  • Updating the search team and internal database accordingly as to who clients want to take forward, whether candidates are dropping out and where they are with any time pressures

  • Updating & maintaining the scheduling spreadsheets

  • Logging feedback on the internal database

  • Supporting the search team on any event or marketing-related initiatives

  • Helping organise events

  • Helping with marketing

  • Ad hoc admin and support to your colleagues


  • You are super organised

  • You love and are great at problem-solving

  • You are dependable and love doing a great job

  • A minimum qualification of 3 A-Levels or equivalent

  • Recent experience in a similar role

  • Excellent MS Office software skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

  • Fast typing skills - typing speed of 70 wpm+

  • Pay close attention to detail

  • Strong/polite written and verbal communication skills

  • Ambitious and focused at work

You should know:

  • Project Coordination activities are expected to be carried out with minor supervision

  • Must be capable of setting priorities and working under pressure

  • Must be able to multi-task; juggling a large volume of candidates and switching easily between searches and clients

  • Must have a high level of attention to detail ensuring all work produced is client-ready (i.e. updated, accurate and always ready to send out if required)
