JOB ROLE: Operations Manager



COMPANY: Utilities



HOURS: 9am - 5.30pm



SALARY: £35,000 + car allowance



LOCATION: Swindon/Field Based



An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Operations Manager to join a long standing client of ours based in Swindon. We are looking for somebody who has excellent customer service skills, who is able to lead a team to success. You will be responsible for a team of 40 Engineers as well as 4 Team Leaders.



DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:




  • Delegating and directing the team, ensuring the objectives and sales goals are met.

  • Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.

  • Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoice, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.

  • Setting up and maintaining a service desk and evaluating its efficiency

  • Resolving service desk problems and improving service methods to increase the service desk productivity and customer service.

  • Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lesson recurring issues

  • Auditing work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with manufactures, dealers, and Sales Representatives

  • Helping to train new employees in company procedures.

  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations. Restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry standards and new innovations, materials, tools and processes.






SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:




  • Excellent leadership, communication and customer service experience

  • Strong IT skills

  • Creative thinking and problem solving

  • The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
