Job Title: Operations Executive



Location: Reading - Working from home



Salary: £26,500



Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm Mon - Fri

My client a dynamic, global marketing company that works with large retailers are looking for an Operations Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating equipment to be distributed to sites as well as providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. You will be providing direct telephone support to clients for escalated, high priority issues with in-store equipment.



Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:




  • Owning day-to-day operational tasks of the business unit to ensure a seamless service delivery for the client. This means building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients and vendors through regular phone or virtual communications.

  • You will be the main point of contact for the call centre support team for operational escalation resolutions and learn from these situations to anticipate future issues and or risks to minimise impacts

  • Managing the supply-chain / logistics and the maintenance of our hardware and consumables stock across the UK

  • Reviewing calls and process adherence of call centre agents

  • Collate data and prepare operational reports for UK clients

  • Stock management and placing orders for customer equipment

  • Supporting ops team with orders when required

  • Answering calls for the call centre support team via phone and email

  • Support company projects

  • Supporting effective customer relationship management

  • Supporting the installation of equipment in stores

  • Build strong relationships with vendors and clients



Skills



  • Ideally, a graduate or someone who is looking to develop into logistics or a supply chain oriented tole

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Teams)

  • Previous experience in project work

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and from home

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative and prioritise tasks
