Are you a reliable and motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client's team as an Operations Coordinator.


As the Operations Coordinator, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, production, technical and finance. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that our client continually meets customer needs and requirements.


To excel in this role, you must be forward-thinking and proactive, with a dynamic approach to problem-solving. Excellent IT skills and a professional phone manner are essential. You should also have the ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently. Being highly motivated and a quick learner is crucial, as you will need to absorb information quickly and work well under pressure. Prioritising your workload will also be important.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor and maintain stock levels at various locations, arranging stock deliveries

  • Review and process all customer orders promptly

  • Raise customer invoices after delivery in a timely manner

  • Process purchase invoices promptly

  • Respond promptly to queries and discrepancies

  • Request and manage the customs clearance process

  • Arrange haulage for orders and obtain haulage rates as requested

  • Keep all documentation and systems up to date

  • Maintain and develop good working relationships with third parties

  • Perform other related tasks as necessary


Required Skills & Experience:



  • Logistics and stock management experience

  • CRM experience and ideally Sage 200

  • Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner

  • Excellent attention to detail, well organised and ability to multitask
