Job role: Operations Administrator

Job Type: 6 months (with potential contract extension)

Hours of work: 35 hours per week, 08:00am - 4:00pm / 09:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Tamworth

Pay: £10.00 - £12.00 per hour (DOE)

Start Date: Immediately

Office Angels are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to work as part of a membership organisation who are passionate about making a real difference to people's lives. This role will require a confident individual who has the ability to take ownership of their work and has a collaborative approach. As the Operations Administrator you will provide efficient and professional support to the operations and development team to help ensure the smooth running of their education, training, development and support services. This is a great opportunity to apply your administrative skills, whilst working with friendly and committed colleagues across different teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support and co-ordination for projects and events

  • Supporting the day-to-day administration for training and professional development programmes

  • Providing on the day IT support for webinars

  • Setting up systems for effective delivery of projects

  • Supporting the delivery team in the day to day running of projects to ensure projects are delivered to time

  • Answering telephone calls, responding to queries and directing calls as appropriate.

  • Receiving and responding to email messages.

  • Scheduling and organising meetings and other events including webinars

  • Developing reports and undertaking research when required

  • Maintaining accurate and effective filing systems

Skills / Experience required:

  • Previous administrative experience in a customer-facing environment

  • Experience of working in the voluntary or education sector (desirable)

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability and willingness to work both individually and as part of a team

  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload and work to tight deadlines

  • Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft packages, databases and the internet

  • Good numeracy skills

  • Competence in creating and managing spreadsheets, data inputting and database work

  • Good organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail

  • A professional approach to work with a high degree of discretion

  • Ability to contribute well to the performance of the company

This role offers flexible working (You will be based within the office for 2 days per week and work remotely from home 3 days)
