Job Title: Operations Administrator

Location: Thornbury, Bristol

Salary: £23-25K

Hours: Full time - 9am - 5pm

My client a successful global electronic security company based in Thornbury Bristol are looking for an Operations Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be working in the high-security services purchasing department, purchasing goods from suppliers and supporting all admin duties.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

  • Purchase goods from suppliers

  • Managing stock levels

  • Managing store requests & enquiries for different regions in the UK

  • Updating Excel spreadsheets with dates for goods purchased & dispatched

  • Reporting on costs for purchasing and installations works

  • Verifying invoices using Sage

  • Liaising with store managers to ensure efficiency with the equipment dispatched

  • Support the Operations Manager when required

Experience and skills required for this position:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Physical ability to manage goods in/out when required to assist the store's dispatch

  • Have a flexible and willing approach to work

  • Team player and able to work in a busy environment

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Full Clean UK driving license is preferred
