Office Angels Edinburgh are collaborating exclusively with a successful Chartered Surveyors and Property Consultancy services client to recruit an Office and Marketing Administrator to join a small but vibrant team based in Edinburgh City Centre! This is a full time permanent role, core hours of work are Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm with a salary of up to £25k and they offer a hybrid working model.

Role Overview

Due to further expansion of our clients business, they seek a proven Administrator with strong attention to detail to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team to assist in the growth of their company. High proficiency with Excel and Word in particular formulas, V-Look Ups and Mail Merge is essential to be successful in the role, as is being a resilient and confident communicator.

This is a critical role within the business as you will be researching, pulling together and organising important data to form marketing lists of potential new clients regarding their business rates advisory service and following up on such services. Full training will be given on the services our client provides, this is an excellent opportunity to make a great impact in a successful business and they reward hard workers!


  • Preparation and execution of marketing lists to potential new clients - using excel and word in particular

  • Intermediate/advanced level in Excel and Word required in particular mail merge and v-look up

  • Issuing of terms of business

  • IT skills to research marketing targets

  • Strong telephone and communication skills required to follow up telephone calls from new enquiries

  • Collation, sending of and follow up of mail shots as well as preparation of marketing lists

  • Able to work to agreed deadlines & excellent organisational skills

  • Ability to work under own initiative

  • Operate and maintenance of filing system which is both electronic and hard copy

Experience and skills required:

  • Advanced Excel and Word skills, in particular knowledge of formulas, v look ups, mail merge is essential

  • Confident and engaging telephone and communication skills required to follow up calls with prospective clients

  • Able to work to agreed deadlines

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Ability to work under own initiative

  • IT skills to research marketing targets and create marketing mailshots
