Office Manager/ Senior Adminstrator

We have a newly created role for an Office Manager/Senior Administrator to join our client based in Stirling - the office is accessible by public transport from Stirling town centre and the surrounding areas; on-site parking is also available.


You will be suitably experienced in overseeing the general management/running of a construction-based office and you will enjoy being involved in all aspects of a successful and busy office.


The hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and the salary is £24-27K depending on your experience and how well it aligns to what our client is looking for.


Key Duties: -



  • Answering incoming telephone calls to the business efficiently and professionally

  • Dealing with invoices

  • Diary management & booking travel arrangements

  • Credit Control

  • Welcoming visitors

  • Dealing with stock

  • Scheduling client appointments

  • Fast and accurate data entry

  • Electronic filing, scanning and mail responsibilities

  • Audio typing (training can be provided)

  • Dealing with any client correspondence and preparing documentation using the Microsoft Office suite

  • Creating Excel reports

  • Processing expenses

  • Raising and processing client applications

  • Updating spreadsheets with contractor information

  • Assisting with payroll


Key Skills: -



  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel

  • Sage 50 and or Sage 200 experience (preferable)

  • Previous experience of working in an office administration/business support environment

  • Able to use own initiative and adhere to tight deadlines

  • Fast and accurate typing

  • Strong administration skills

  • A pro-active approach to work

  • Effective time-management skills

  • An organised approach to the daily tasks and the ability to work under pressure

  • Confidence in liaising with senior members of the team and clarifying information when necessary


The ideal candidate will be comfortable working within a small team and occasionally working without supervisions. You will be able to hit the ground running and prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
