I am supporting a growing business in Rochester in their search for a dynamic and solutions-focused Office Manager. This is an important hire for my client as the Office Manager is at the heart for the business providing support to the Director, Engineers and Clients. Duties include:



  • Project Support

    • Liaising with clients to confirm works and services

    • Allocating jobs and scheduling Engineers efficiently

    • Tracking/monitoring project progress and performance



  • Office Management/HR

    • Overseeing office facilities and managing contracts

    • Handling all incoming calls and queries to the office

    • Ordering stock, supplies and PPE

    • Supporting with Employee on-boarding and recruitment

    • Maintaining employee records



  • Finance Support

    • Tracking expenses

    • Making supplier payments

    • Payroll preparation for Accountant- collating time sheets, checking and approving hours, submitting calculations for payment





With a big year planned in the business for 2024, my client is keen to find somebody for this role who will help the business grow. If you are the type of person who enjoys sharing ideas, collaborating on tasks and implementing new processes then you will love working closely with the Director here.


The ideal candidate:



  • Experience in Admin, Payroll preparation and scheduling

  • Heating or HA industry background would be brilliant

  • If you have exposure to ISO audits then even better as my client would love to secure some accreditations in the not too distant future
