Our new client is a recruitment firm based in the heart of London. A small team of specialists with over two decades of experience in the industry and a global network, recruiting at executive level. They're a fun and professional team, passionate about delivering outstanding service to their many clients.

They are looking for an Office Manager to take over the business functions, ensuring everything is running smoothly and helping to create a positive working environment for the whole team. The role will require you to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business and to take responsibility of a wide range of tasks, from diary management to liaising with suppliers and contractors, to implementing new company policies and supporting with IT.

They are small team, but they are looking for a big personality, someone who is switched on and loves to get involved. As a broad and varied role, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn and gain more responsibility with a growing team.


  • Be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the London Office.

  • Answering phones, dealing with incoming/outgoing post, monitoring and ordering office supplies

  • Bring in innovative ideas, looking for new ways to push the business forward

  • Preparing letters, reports, presentations and documents.

  • Managing company CRM and internal systems making sure they are up to date and organised

  • Support the four company Directors with PA duties

  • Reviewing company analytics and presenting these to the Team Managers

  • Monitoring and updating procedures and policies as well as the Employee Handbooks

  • Understand GDPR and ensure that procedures and policies in place, making sure the business is compliant

  • Work alongside the L&D manager and be able to identify areas of the business which may require new platforms or functions

  • Be creative and able to create your own content for both internal and external use

  • Coordinating company travel including flights, hotels and expenses

  • Dealing with employee onboarding/offboarding

  • Be responsible for onsite Health and Safety and HR (sickness, holidays and employee queries)

  • Managing the IT/Telecoms and Office Maintenance

  • Arranging team social events and company incentives

  • Supporting our marketing partner to build relevant content for social pages

  • Dealing with large projects and office moves/renovations


  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working within a business support role

  • Social and enjoy working in fast-paced environment

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Be creative, work with autonomy and resilience. Bring solutions to any problems you face

  • Confident, self-motivated and passionate about what you do

  • Time management and ability to work under pressure

  • Tech savvy with a competence in Microsoft Suite
