Office Manager

A brand new role has been created for a new Office Manager who will report directly in to and support the MD in managing resources across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as General Assistant to the MD, supporting them with diary and travel management, organising & participating in meetings, typing the agenda and minutes

  • Rota management

  • Overseeing customer and sales queries

  • Overseeing facilities

  • Overseeing general administrative systems such as data entry and record management

  • Assisting the MD with HR issues, such as recruitment, staff development and training, carry out appraisals, review & update HR policies and ensure they are observed

  • Performance measurement

About you:

  • Experience in a similar role is essential

  • Exceptional leadership and time, task, and resource management skills

  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to challenge and question while maintaining positive relationships

  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office; SAP desirable

  • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines

  • Ability to cope with rapidly changing demands on time and prioritise jobs according to urgency

  • Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement, human resources, and customer service procedures

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position, working office hours, Monday-Friday

  • Due to the rural location of the offices it is essential that you are a car driver with access to your own vehicle

  • Immediate start available for the right candidate.
