JOB TITLE: Office Manager


LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset


SALARY: £25,000 - £40,000 PA DOE


HOURS: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday


BENEFITS: 20 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays, rising to 23 after 1 years service, company Pension scheme, free parking, opportunity to earn a discretionary company bonus.


THE COMPANY: A rapidly growing online Home Interiors company. This is a small, family run team who have exciting and progressive growth plans.


THE ROLE:



  • Call Handling

  • Liaising with customers and problem solving to ensure a high level of service is maintained

  • Email correspondence with customers

  • Liaising with suppliers on occasions

  • Providing accurate updates to customers

  • Dealing with incoming / outgoing mail / deliveries

  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

  • Speaking with customers and sending out appropriate brochure packs

  • Assist where possible with any administration for the Managing Director

  • Preparing letters, presentations and reports where necessary

  • Attend meetings with Managing Director if necessary

  • Order and maintain stock levels of stationery/toners and ensure that the stationery store is tidy

  • Liaise with external contractors (maintenance and cleaning) regarding reported maintenance and cleaning issues

  • Undertaking responsibility for first aid and health and safety checks

  • Responsibility for all office equipment, Printers, IT and telephones.

  • Managing third party contracts to include, IT companies, cleaning contracts and building maintenance to include redecoration or refurbishments

  • Implementing and maintaining office procedures/office administrative systems

  • Organising inductions programmes for new employees

  • Ordering new equipment where necessary


THE PERSON:


To be successful for this role, you will need to be energetic, highly adaptable and responsive with strong organisational skills and high attention to detail. You will have prior experience in a busy professional environment and be a champion for customer service. You will need to be extremely competent with MS Office.
