JOB ROLE: Office Manager

COMPANY: Technology

HOURS: Full time, Temp to Perm

SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000

LOCATION: London, West End


  • Office Management support for very busy London Office

  • Organising company social events and gatherings

  • General diary/calendar management and office communication to staff

  • Responsible for return to office plan including rotas, seating plans, office equipment, health and safety and stationery upon return

  • Facilities management including obtaining quotes, arranging contractors and repairs

  • Accountable for the appearance, functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the office environment by creating and enhancing facilities excellence to reinforce company culture and meet company strategic goals.

  • Execute and manage the smooth running of the office involving office supplies, equipment and, in conjunction with the IT team, technology, and postal services to support employee output, delivery and efficiency.

  • Oversee meeting room availability on behalf of the office, ensuring all are well equipped, operational and fit for purpose to facilitate smooth and uninterrupted usage by employees and visitors.

  • Accountable for facilities management ensuring that the building and its services meet the needs of the people that work within by conducting regular maintenance checks, raising matters of attention with the landlord and ensuring completion within agreed timescales.

  • Vendor management - including supplies, air-conditioning, coffee, storage facilities, waste management etc.

  • Management of office alarm, security & CCTV systems, fire risk assessment, first aid & fire warden nominations and training

  • Manage and maintain platform showing desk availability, and work in a receptionist capacity as required.

  • In the event of office layout changes and office moves, assume full responsibility for office Covid-specific requirements, layout planning, organizing of the transfer of office furniture and equipment to achieve a smooth transition and uninterrupted business continuity.


  • Considerable experience of working in an office manager/administrator capacity

  • Building management experience an advantage

  • Previous experience of office layout changes and office moves

  • Working knowledge of office technology including telephone systems, projector and AV equipment, video conferencing, photocopying machines and postal franking equipment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrable organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
