Salary: £18,000-£22,000 DOE

Location: Saffron Walden Area

Hours: Full Time opportunity

Job Specification

Our client is looking for a reliable, organised office assistant to manage the day-to-day administrative aspects of the office. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude alongside excellent client-facing communication skills. You will be responsible for general office duties.

The role includes but is not limited to:

Filing, photocopying and general office duties.

Assisting with accepting deliveries and raising purchase orders.

Answer telephone and transfer to relevant person / take messages.

Attending to emails.

Responsible for stationery and office supplies ordering.

Deal with customer queries

Data entry.

Chase outstanding supplier orders.

Other Responsibilities

Willingness to do other various duties that the role requires.

Key Skills Needed

Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role.

Proven office experience in administration and/or bookkeeping roles.

Proficient in Microsoft software including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Strong mathematical and numerical skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Can work well both independently and in a team.

Strong attention to detail.

Methodical and logical thinking.

Organisational flare.

Excellent communicator via email, telephone and in person.

Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
