Office Angels are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator for our global client based in Reading.


Pay rate: up to £10.50ph


Duration: temporary to permanent for the right candidate


Hours: 8:30am - 5.30pm


Job Purpose:


To support the administration helpdesk also to help cover over areas such as Purchasing, Transport & Postroom. To take responsibility for its day-to-day objectives, covering holiday & sickness. Must be flexible with hours of work and types of roles required to cover. Working hours will range between 8am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Must have a driver's license.


To carry out duties, within the administration team, relating to its operation:



  • To provide support to the Administration Manager as required

  • Allocation and distribution of parts to 3rd party suppliers

  • Data collation using MS Excel daily, resulting in monthly statistics being provided electronically to the customer

  • To be responsible of helpdesk calls from the customer, and find a resolution for any reported issues

  • Provide telephone support/cover for colleagues within the office

  • Auditing invoices before being passed for payment

  • Raising of all purchase orders

  • Keeping all spreadsheets up to date

  • Procedure writing and updating procedures

  • Dealing with all carrier requests

  • Updating the weekly timesheets daily

  • Looking after all discrepancies, damaged and refusals

  • To check and collect driving licenses every 6 months

  • Producing the monthly Opus report

  • Sign in & out Book

  • To carry out duties, within the Postroom, relating to its operation (During Holidays & Sickness)

  • Experience within a customer service environment

  • Computer literate - MS Office proficient

  • Drivers Licenses is desirable

  • Experience within a warehouse/ transport environment

  • Good customer relation skills

  • Experience with all MS office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
