Office Angels are currently working with a new client, their offices are based close to A727 south west of Glasgow (G53). They form part of a well-recognised brand and have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and ambitious individual within their finance team. You will be involved in a modern and progressive business where the possibilities for progression are evident. We therefore need an experienced Finance Assistant with good purchase ledger experience for this on-going temporary assignment. On site parking is available and the hours of work are Mon-Friday 9am to 5pm.


What you'll do:



  • Oversee processing of Sales and Purchase invoices

  • Code and check invoices

  • Work out VAT payments

  • File invoices and statements

  • Deal with purchase enquiries

  • Processing payment runs

  • Raising high volumes of invoices

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Creating and issuing quotations to customers as well as tracking quotations

  • Maintenance of customer and database



What you'll need:



  • Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and Sage/bespoke finance software

  • Previous experience of working in fast paced team

  • Customer oriented attitude

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of attention to detail
