A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Secretary/Administrator has become available within a highly successful and professional Financial Services firm close to Bank Tube station. The candidate will be required to assist with the day to day running of the office along with supporting the PA's and Execs with any administration/secretarial support.




JOB ROLE: Secretary/Office Administrator

JOB TYPE: Permanent - Must be available to start ASAP

HOURS: 9.00am - 5.00pm

SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 *Depending on experience

LOCATION: City of London

CULTURE: Very professional, friendly, supportive and calm office environment


DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Secretarial support to a team of directors

  • Dictation of emails

  • Typing correspondence

  • Extensive diary management

  • Organisation of meetings and lunches

  • Filing documentation; paper and electronic

  • Answering the telephone in a polite and professional manner

  • Taking minutes at group meetings and circulating to relevant people.

  • Preparing and submitting monthly expense claims.

  • Assist with administrative matters and document management

  • Prepare correspondence, reports and deal directly with routine matters

  • Ad-hoc tasks as required



SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Strong and credible education

  • Experience within a Secretarial/Administration role is necessary

  • Experience within Finance and/or Pensions is ideal

  • Typing, minute taking and diary management experience is necessary

  • Excellent communication & organisation skills

  • Ability to prioritise

  • Must have a calm, professional attitude

  • Well presented and polished
