Sales Ledger Controller


Immediate start - 3 month contract


£9p/h Northampton


Monday to Friday 8.45am-5pm


Duties to include;


1. Open all incoming mail. Scan, post cheques and BACS payments to the Sales Ledger and prepare cheques for Banking.


2. Process and bank all cheques and BACS payments on the day of receipt to the agreed time tables.


3. Allocate payments against invoices as customer request.


4. Maintain the accuracy of the ledger.


5. Reduce unallocated cash in line with set targets and within the agreed timescales.


6. Ensure error rate and queries are kept to a minimum.


7. Liaise with Credit Control Department / branches in order to resolve allocation queries.


8. Enter and maintain accurate notes against customer accounts as necessary
