Role: Sales Administrator

Location: Bradford

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Salary: £18,000

Benefits: 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, Pension scheme, free parking on-site

One of our well-established clients are currently looking for a professional individual to undertake a Sales Administration role.

This will be a busy and varied position and the successful applicant and will be offered a competitive salary of £18,000 with a view to review this after probationary period (6 month)

Duties include

  • Take incoming calls and deal with customer enquiries; providing product and pricing information as required.

  • Taking and processing sales orders ensuring pricing, product numbers and delivery addresses are correct.

  • Collating product Operation & Maintenance documentation and sending to customers.

  • Producing purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers by email or through online portals.

  • Handle sales returns and customer warranty issues.

  • Provide customers with delivery updates & POD's on request.

  • Generate customer quotations utilising existing in-house spreadsheets / programs.

  • Inputting information directly on to Sage 200.

  • General admin duties as required.

  • Checking available stock from the warehouse.

Experience & Qualities Required

  • Previous administration experience

  • Excellent numeric skills and a keen eye for detail

  • You will need to be proactive and demonstrate a "can do" attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages - especially Excel

  • Sage 200 experience is desirable; however training can be provided.

The location would suit applicants who live in Bradford, Halifax, Bingley, Shipley.
