Office Angels Taunton is currently working with a local property maintenance company that has been established for over 30 years to recruit for a Property Administrator on a full time, permanent basis.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and will include the occasional evening for meeting attendance located around Somerset. The salary will be £18,000 - £19,000 PA DOE.

Working in a small, friendly and welcoming team environment you will take on the administrative support duties of the maintenance team.

Your main responsibility will be to provide an efficient response to a range of maintenance requirements primarily related to the communal areas across leasehold blocks of flats and residential estates.

Although prior property experience isn't essential, it would be beneficial, alternatively, it would suit someone with an interest in property and prior administration experience.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • To organise a rapid response to any issues, queries and enquiries raised and updating work flow reports

  • Note taking during meetings

  • To arrange, monitor and follow up contractors

  • To undertake various administrative functions including managing records, coordinating contractors and budget control on behalf of the landlord

  • To support the Maintenance & Property Management teams

  • To deliver outstanding client service at all times, in accordance with the company's formal service standards

  • Arrange relevant surveys, certificates and all other legal documentation in relation to properties

  • Review risk assessments

We have to specify that the successful applicant must be a driver with their own vehicle as you will be required to attend meetings that can take place all over Somerset.
