Office Angels Durham are currently recruiting for a super organised PA, to join our client based in Boldon.

This role is Fixed Term contract for 4 months but could continue longer thereafter.

This role is to start ASAP! So, you MUST be available for interview and to start work immediately (WC 30th September). Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. Pay rate £10 - £12ph depending on experience.


  • Book meeting rooms, arrange catering, travel for board members as required. Ensure board packs are collated and distributed in a timely manner against board schedule

  • Diary Management - Manage and maintain the CEO's diary to ensure maximum efficiency and email account (Filter emails, highlighting urgent correspondence).

  • Travel Management System - Manage the travel management system across the business, to ensure compliance and cost control.

  • Travel Arrangements - Arrange all CEO and Executive Team travel

  • Expenses - Expedite CEO's and Executive Teams expense claims in line with Company policy

  • Organisation - Conduct weekly diary meetings with the CEO to discuss and proactively manage upcoming engagements, meetings, travel and other requests i.e. supporting with presentations etc.

  • Schedule Meetings - on behalf of the CEO arrange meetings

  • Key Liaison - Filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to the CEO by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate

  • Mail - Collect and open all mail addressed to the CEO

  • Stationery - oversee the site stationery to ensure good cost control and target to beat budget

  • Provide admin support to ensure the systems are maintained

  • General - Provide the Executive Directors with admin support as and when required (i.e. travel arrangements, meeting arrangements etc)

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to multi-task and organise others

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to professionally represent the CEO

  • Professional telephone manner

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Attention to detail is key

  • Ability to filter information and assess priorities

  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships at all levels

  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods

  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise

  • Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters

  • Confident and able to work on own initiative

  • Well-presented and highly personable

  • Flexible approach


  • Experience in a Senior Admin/PA role in a highly pressurised environment

  • Experience of diary management/researching and booking of travel and accommodation

  • Experience of successfully working with senior management

This role is a Fixed Term contract for approx. 4 months but could continue longer thereafter.
